the lady hillcats played a great game today defeating Oklahoma christian. good job ladies keep playing hard and tough. sierra played a very good all around game. she had some big steals and she hit some big shots and she finished with 22 on the night.
the men hillcats on the other hand had a little more to deal with. OCU came out playing pretty good and reinke was playing hard in the paint. we were able to score on the offensive end but we had trouble containing the boards in the first half and went into halftime with only a 3 point lead. second half we came out playing and just couldnt maintain the lead. we couldnt keep the lead. down the stretch we got some key stops and some key buckets. a big 3 by alex ewings from the wing and somw big offensive rebounds. final seconds of the game mo rutherford got a big offensive rebound and larry cox hit a 3 pointer from top of the key with 5.6 seconds left in the game. which was the game winner. good job both the hillcat women and men!
the hillcat men have another game onmonday evening against st. gregory. we would like to thank all of the hillcat fans for coming out and supporting your hillcats. we love you and look forward to seeing you monday evening.
